Emanuele Lucente’s tailoring atelier SuitArt makes 40 made-to-measure suits a month. The wedding season is busy, and many suits carry personal details. Lucente insists on high-quality materials, as cheap fabrics can be carcinogenic. His suits, available from CHF 1,200, contain horsehair for breathability and a good fit. Clients include celebrities, footballers and Swiss companies. The company has extended its contract with FIFA by four years, which makes it responsible for the dress code at the 2026 World Cup. Lucente also tailored a suit for Roger Federer, which Federer wore to the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. SuitArt offers made-to-measure suits and alterations, and even sells nano-tech fabrics used in a bulletproof suit. The business, founded by Lucente’s father, grew and became part of SuitArt Massanzug AG. Lucente wants to keep growing while holding on to the family tradition of precision and quality.
